Changes and agreements

No more “but you said…”

Every change shows its price and its effect on the handover date before anyone says yes. Then it is agreed in writing, with a copy for both sides.

Change 3 · 12 Elm Road
  • Price and date up front

Each change shows the cost, the new total and the new handover date in plain words.

  • Agreed with one tap

The homeowner reads the change and agrees it. Both sides get a PDF record of who agreed what and when.

  • Locked once sent

Anything sent for agreement can't be quietly edited. A change makes a new version that has to be agreed again.

  • Extras get paid

An agreed change goes straight into the running total, so it doesn't get forgotten at the final bill.

A tick is a real agreement between the builder and the homeowner. Homeowners keep their legal right to cancel, usually within 14 days of agreeing away from the builder's premises. Tidy Builder records it if they do.

Questions

Things people ask.

Can a homeowner cancel a change they agreed?

Yes, within their legal cancellation period. Tidy Builder has a Cancel button for this and tells the builder.

What if I ticked by mistake?

Press Undo straight away. After that, message the other person. Homeowners also keep their right to cancel.

Who gets a copy?

Both sides. Each agreement is saved with a PDF record and stays readable whether or not anyone is paying.
