How it works

Three steps to one plan.

Tidy Builder is for a building job you are already doing together. It doesn't find builders or clients. It keeps everyone on the job working from the same plan, from the first brief to handover.

  1. 1

    Start the project

The homeowner starts the project, or the builder starts a job. Either way you get one project with one timeline and one budget.

    HOMEOWNER OR BUILDER
  2. 2

    Invite everyone

Bring in the builder, the trades, the architect and the client. Each person opens a link on their phone. Nothing to download.

    EVERYONE
  3. 3

    Build from one plan

Quotes, changes, dates and site-visit points are agreed in writing as you go. Everyone works from the same plan, in their own language.

    EVERYONE
Projects and parts

One project, a space for each builder.

A project belongs to the homeowner. It is one property, with one budget and one timeline.

Each builder or trade gets their own part of the project, such as the extension, the kitchen or the electrics. Their part holds their quote, changes, payments, tasks and messages.

A project can have many builders. A builder can work on many projects for many clients, all from one account.

Everyone sees what they need for their work and nothing they shouldn't.

  • Main builder

Their own quote, changes and messages, plus the parts of the timeline that affect them.

  • Electrician

Their own quote, changes and messages, plus the parts of the timeline that affect them.

  • Kitchen fitter

Their own quote, changes and messages, plus the parts of the timeline that affect them.

  • Architect

Their own quote, changes and messages, plus the parts of the timeline that affect them.

A builder never sees another builder's price.

Two ways in

Whoever starts, you end up in the same place.

The homeowner starts
  1. 1Sets up the project with notes, ideas and a budget
  2. 2Invites the builders and trades already chosen
  3. 3Each one prices their part and gets their own space
The builder starts
  1. 1Creates the job and sends the quote
  2. 2Invites the client, who joins free
  3. 3Brings in subcontractors on their own parts

Both routes end with one project, one plan and everyone invited.

Who sees what

Everyone sees their own part.
